This is a big decision!!!
It is so easy to get caught up in the fabulous facility that comes with most modern travel trailers that your tow vehicle can be overlooked or simply skimmed over. It’s also one of the most exciting purchases of our lives and the need to get out there is tangible. Not for a moment am I saying that a new vehicle is required for every trailer purchase but I nearly made the mistake of thinking that my planned tow vehicle was sufficient…it wasn’t!! I loosely covered some of the specs to consider in a previous blog. I’m not for a moment implying that you don’t know any of that stuff, but I can add some colour…Here we go, please don’t shout at me! 
So you did all the math, measured the specs, and your vehicle makes the grade. I did the same before and might not have lost control my previous trailer blowout. If only I left a little more margin for power, weight and length…let the pictures tell the story…
On my recent purchase I desperately wanted the bigger fancy trailer, but found the perfect fit for both eventually.
The irony of all of this is that I would love to upgrade to a bigger, better trailer, but I better know that the margins on my tow vehicle are enough ….. safe travels everyone!
