If you need a way to run more than just your BBQ off your propane quick-connection on your trailer, this is worth looking at. After buying our trailer I soon realized that I’d want more options when using my quick propane connection. While it’s a good efficient and safe way to hook up propane devices, I wanted to run more than one device at the same time. I
also like to have everything set up and not have to worry about running feeds back and forth. My trailer is not the biggest. Even though we have all the facilities to cook inside, we wanted to BBQ and use our old Coleman cooker outside, especially if we were preparing onions and the like. I was looking for something that would save us space and use the existing trailer propane instead of buying the little green disposable bottles. I also didn’t want to carry any extra propane tanks to facilitate outdoor cooking. We usually BBQ at the end of the day, the perfect time to be outdoors enjoying the sunset. I chose the propane MENSI “Y” connector and adaptor for my specific cooker so that we could be outside rather than inside the RV. Be sure to buy the correct connector for you cooker as there are different models. Not all connections to this type of cooker are the same.
The MENSI connector is safe and you can individually turn off the propane supply to both feeds from the “Y”. For those who use propane heaters, fires and other accessories this is ideal. If you are a Fall or Winter camper you can add functionality to your setup and use 2 devices at once. Most RV’ers probably have a propane cooker that they’d like to use on occasion. We have one from our tent camping gear and have decided to take it along as this connector makes it much easier to use. For a ton of options CLICK HERE.
